relief project

-Did you learn new techniques or processes as part of the work for this project?
yes, the medium i used for the volcanoes foundation was something that i have never used before.

-Did you gain skill with familiar materials?
yes, i used the hot glue as lava for my volcano, and painted red under it to make it look like lava.

-How did you use your own unique ideas in your work?
i used hot glue for the lava and used sea glass for rocks on the bottom f the volcano.

-Did you use a source for inspiration, then combine it with your own ideas to make it original?
no way, you'd better believe these ideas are original.

lidded vessels

time capsule

- How do you think your piece was successful?
My piece was successful because the lid is greatly fitted onto the piece and the paint job is a great color scheme.

- What is your vessel supposed to hold?
My vessel is supposed to be a time capsule and hold anything that is important to you that will fit and that will be amazing in a couple years.

-What medium did you pick and why?
I chose to use clay because i like molding the vessel and then being able to paint it so cool.

-If you've had any difficulties so far, what have they been?
my biggest obstacle was my time management.

  3. Awesome, considering that i'm down a rhinoceros.
  4. Rhinoceros, because they are really rad animals, and i've never done a project with that animal before.
  5. That is my favorite picture, because all of the colors are really cool, and they go together so nice.

book carvings

The way that I went about the book carvings was to just freehand a sweet volcano. Some problems thatiarn into was procrastination and hand cramps, but in the end it turned out awesome.

portrait

  1. I chose to do a portrait of me and my other group members in the project, because it is all of our faces.
  2. We chose to do skittles. The problem we had was that we couldnt stop eating them. It was hard to work with the limited colors.
  3. Despite the lack of colors in the skittles, we still decided to use them.
  4. The medium didn't work out like we thought because we ended up eating too much, so we have to space more out so it looks weird.

answers

1. I showed variety by using different medias as well a a bunch of different colors. I thought about all of the things that i thought were really cool and put them in a science where two of my dragons are fighting while one is just roaming and there is a UFO abducting things in the background.

2. My experience with mixed media is just this project. I have never done it before this, but I really enjoy it. I used pictures that I colored with oil pastels, and tissue paper, and cloth, etc.

3. I made the piece look like something was going on, rather than just gluing things on it.

4. I didn't experience any obstacles, because I am the best.
